11TH ANNUAL ALL-STYLES DANCE BATTLE 🏆

We’re thrilled to announce that The Bridge Music Project is teaming up with the City of Olympia and Capital City Pride Olympia for an unforgettable day of creativity, self-expression, and community!

As part of Olympia’s 3-day Pride Festival, at Port Plaza stage we’ll be proudly hosting our 11th Annual All Styles Dance Battle, a high energy street dance tournament highlighting 8 dancers from across the region who will be battling it out head-to-head.

We invite you all to become a part of The Bridge’s annual tradition of bringing street dance to Olympia!

Come vibe with us at 2pm this Saturday at Port Plaza and witness the power of movement!

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Arty “ArtBird” Shaw.

We first met Arty as a participant in one of workshops in 2015, he was a very positive person, welcoming to everyone, and authentically himself no matter what.

The kindness that Arty shared with us, as well as many others, will be exactly how we choose to remember him, because that’s what he chose to gave the world everyday.

You will forever be missed & remembered by many, Arty.

SUMMER MIDDLE SCHOOL SONGWRITING WORKSHOP🎤

In partnership with the city of Olympia, we will be hosting a FREE 2-week long songwriting workshop for middle schoolers starting on July 7th. 🎉

From 2pm to 4pm, we’ll meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to write and record original music, closing out the workshop with a FLOWCASE where the youth will get a chance to perform the music they created in a LIVE concert setting! 🔊🎶

This workshop is for any and all styles of music and experience levels. 🎸

Spots are limited so we encourage those who are interested in signing up to do so today at bridgemusicproject.org/middleschool

Youth participants got to perform original music they’ve been working on for the last 8 weeks in front of an audience of 165+ people!

A special thank you to Inspire Olympia, Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Olympia Film Society and Old School Pizzeria, as well as to our community supporters, donors, and music mentor volunteers for all of their help and contributions that made this workshop possible, we truly appreciate you all. 🤝

Come Laugh At Us! Youth Comedy Showcase hosted by 🎙️

Our comedy show last Friday was a HIT!

6 youth comedians performed their own stand up routines that they’ve been working on with for the last 4 weeks, and they all absolutely CRUSHED IT! 🎉

A special thank you to our community partners who helped make this workshop happen and to everyone who attended Friday’s show to support our youth. 🤝
