A reminder that a Scout is reverent. Today we celebrate Scout Sunday to mark the anniversary of Scouting America. Scouts are encouraged to wear their field uniforms.

Today, Scouting America turns 116 years old, and what better way to celebrate than by looking at 116 Scouts who went on to make history?

This incredible list includes astronauts, presidents, athletes, inventors, artists, and leaders all shaped in part by their time in Scouting. It’s a powerful reminder that the lessons learned as a Scout can last a lifetime.

You never know where today’s Scout will be tomorrow.

Don't forget to come out to Thunderbird today and help us honor the life and service of Russ Caron. Scouts should arrive by noon to be greeters. The memorial starts at 12:30 at the Camp Thunderbird chapel.
