A community outreach event, empowering young women to build confidence by ​providing mentorship and exploring different career options. Inspired by Camp Blaze, who’s vision is to empower, inspire, and support strong women leaders, this local 2-day girls' camp for ages 16-20 utilizes the skills of firefighting to encourage young women to push out of their comfort zones, take on new roles, learn new

skills, and bond with each other, all while providing mentorship from experienced firefighters.

Capital Metro Fire Girls Camp will consist of skills stations that encompass the basics of firefighting. From 7:30 am - 5:00 pm both days (with overnight accommodations provided if necessary for the camper), camp will take place the Mark Noble Regional Fire Training Center on Fones Road in Olympia.
