I'm sad to say the Friends of the Olympia Library Little Free Library was vandalized this weekend and the door broken. I've removed the door for repair. Rain is in the forecast, so there are no books to share until the door is replaced.

County Commissioners.

It's here! An special book sale in the Olympia Library meeting room. Three unique collections offered on Saturday, February 28th from 11am to 4 pm. See below for details. Also offered are 25 Jazz LPs.

The FOL has received a huge donation of cookbooks! We've put as many as possible in the shelves of the Book Store, but there are many more, so from 12-2 pm on Saturday, we will have at least one extra cart available to shoppers. Most are $1-$3 and cover a wide variety of cuisines.

RED ALERT!!! Donations are down! The Friends of the Olympia Library need your donation of gently used books and media so we can support the Olympia and West Olympia Libraries. All proceeds from our book sales benefit the Library.
See the flyer below for our donation guidelines. Donation days are Wednesday and Saturday 12-2 pm. Or for small donations of one or two bags or less, use the bin inside the FOL Book Store any time the Olympia Library is open.

Hi Library Friends, Book donations are in the summer doldrums at the Olympia Library. Please consider putting together a donation the FOL can sell to benefit the Olympia and West Olympia Libraries.
Bring them to our Book Store inside the Olympia Library during open hours 10-6 Monday-Saturday. Need help with your donation? Volunteers are on hand Wednesdays and Saturdays 12-2 pm. See below for guidelines. Thank you.

The FOL Volunteers have been working hard to get the Friends new book sale space ready to open on Monday, April 14.
Here is a picture of room when I left today. A huge thank you to all of our volunteers for the many hours spent on this project.

Friends of the Olympia Library will not be accepting donations of books and media starting on March 17, 2025. If you have books to donate they can go to the Friends of the Lacey Library, Goodwill or Value Village.

Spring is just around the corner. It is time to start planning your garden. The Friends of the Olympia Library have installed a large cart of gardening books near our ongoing book sale. Shop now for the best selection.

Two big, red Holiday carts filled with books and media for all ages are now available in the ongoing sales area of the Olympia Library.
