Coming up soon! Lacey Midday Lions partner with Lacey Fire Dept. for annual Christmas party for homeless children. A grand party will take place on Dec. 16 at the Lacey FD, with gifts, crafts, and food for area homeless kids and their parents. It's the spirit of Christmas!

Lacey Midday Lions are now distributing personal dictionaries to our local schools 3rd graders. It's fun and the children love their own books! Here's to literacy 👧🧑 !

Lacey Midday Lions just completed sight testing for 7 area schools, grades K, 1,2, 3, 5, 7. We use a Plus Optix machine which detects vision problems, so that parents become aware their child may need eyeglasses. The kids and school staff are great. It's a fun and rewarding activity for our Lions!

Big Book Fair at Fred Myer's Lobby, Lacey WA.,February 25, 8:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. Donations accepted.

Proceeds benefit clubs outreach projects: Hearing & Sight, Dictionary Giveaways to 3rd grades in the North Thurston School District, Scholarships, Families in need, Lions Project New Hope NW and Lions Camp Leo.

January 26 Lacey Midday Lions had a fun meeting with the installation of Jim Ryan as Tailtwister along with the induction of new member DeAnn Conway, sponsored by Lion Jackie Silva. The installations were performed by District Governor Jan Weatherly.
Lacey Midday Lions is welcoming prospective new members.
Midday Lions is a noon club meeting from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Indian Summer.

December 10 Lacey Midday Lions will be Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army at Lacey Fred Myer Store in Lacey WA. If you would like to volunteer to help on this very rewarding project please contact 360.491-9030 to sign up. Membership is short this year so need a bit of help. Thank you.

On behalf of the Lacey Midday Lions, President Art Corwin is ill. He was taken to St. Peters Hospital and now has been transferred to Panorama City Convelescent Center for physical therapy and getting his health stronger. Art's kidney's have failed. He is receiving kidney dialysis 3 times a week. This takes 5 hours per treatment so Monday, Wed & Fridays are busy days for him. He likes visitors. Recommend calling to make sure he is not in PT or dialysis. Cards would be wonderful from our Lion Clubs. His wife Dee spends most of the days with Art.

December 6 is getting closer for the Christmas Cactus play at the Olympia Little Threatre. Tickets still available for $15 each. Lots of fun planned like a Silent Auction, wine bar and raffle.
