Quick update regarding our Annual Guild Picnic tonight, Wednesday, August 5th (6 PM – 9 PM) at Jubilee Pavilion Park (4875 Vashon Dr. NE, corner of Pavilion Way NE, Lacey):

The picnic is STILL ON!

We know it’s hot and the air quality is less than ideal, but we’d still love to see everyone who feels comfortable coming out. Here’s what you need to know:

🌳 Shade & Cover: We will be gathered at the covered pavilion to keep out of the direct sun.

💧 Stay Hydrated: Cold drinks will be provided, but please bring extra water for yourself if needed!

😷 Your Comfort First: Please take care of your health! If the heat or smoke is too much for you, we completely understand if you choose to stay home and stay cool.

Reminder of what to bring (if attending):
✅ A potluck dish to share
✅ Your own plates & utensils
✅ Show & Tell projects
✅ School supply donations for North Thurston Family Resource Center

Our guild members have access to a free library of quilt patterns. MQG just added a fabulous new pattern that mixes curves with triangles to create an amazing medallion effect. 🤩

Our next South Sound Modern Quilt Guild meeting is moving outdoors for our Annual Picnic!

Join us for food, fun, Show & Tell, and door prizes at our summer gathering!
