The coalition supports policy and practice changes with local partners designed to increase access to healthy eating and physical activity. We encourage children and their families to follow some simple steps toward staying healthy and preventing chronic illness through the number 7-5-2-1-0:
7 - Eat breakfast every day.
5 - Eat fruits and vegetables at least 5 or more times on most days.

- Limit screen time (time in front of a computer, television or video games) unrelated to school to 2 hours or less daily.
1 - Get 1 hour or more of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day.
0 - Drink less sugar. Try water and low-fat milk instead of sugar-sweetened drinks. The following types of postings, regardless of format (text, links, video, images,
etc.), are subject to removal:
- Topically un-related, including phishing or spam
- Profane language or content
- Content that promotes discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color,
age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance,
national origin, veteran status, physical or mental disability, or sexual
orientation or perceived sexual orientation.
- Disclosure of records that are not public records
- Solicitations or commerce
- Promotion or endorsement of personal or religious causes not related to
County business
- Candidate endorsement or ballot initiatives
- Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity (including, without
limitation, sending messages containing obscene materials, or messages
whose purpose or effect is harassment, threats, defamation or portrayal of
any person in a false light)
- Postings of a sexual nature or promoting drug use
- Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or
public systems
- Abusive, inflammatory or discriminatory messages
- Content that violates the legal ownership interest of another party
including copyright, trademark, or license restrictions. Disallowed or inappropriate posts will be removed as quickly as possible by the
Social Media Coordinator or Administrators. Users who abuse this policy will be warned by the Social Media Coordinator or
Administrators; and, if necessary, blocked and/or removed from future postings
on the network.
