Tumwater Paraprofessionals are dedicated, essential educational professionals who care deeply about students. That’s why TAP members are fighting for wages that will lead to more stability and success for students.

They’re fighting for pay that doesn’t force them to chose between supporting students or supporting their own families. This will mean less turnover, more consistency, and better student behaviors and outcomes.

Tumwater School District leadership is not prioritizing Tumwater Paraprofessionals—which is why Tumwater Paraprofessionals voted to strike on September 2 if they do not reach a tentative agreement by 5pm on September 1 for action.
