Come hungry.

We will have chili, cornbread, hot chocolate, and a chance to settle in and enjoy the ranch for the evening. Sometimes a warm bowl of food, a crisp fall night, and good company is enough to make a night feel really good.

❤️ WELCOME TO THE TCI BOARD OF DIRECTORS, LEAH BROWN!

We’re so excited to welcome Leah to the Thurston County Inclusion Board of Directors!

Leah is a mom of two boys and works locally in special education. When she’s not at Special Olympics events or the baseball field, you can find her camping with her family, exploring new cities, reading, or visiting Disneyland!

Leah is passionate about inclusion and creating meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to feel connected and belong in their community. She loves seeing how TCI has grown over the years and the positive impact it continues to make on individuals with and without disabilities.

We’re so happy to have Leah on board and look forward to all we’ll continue to accomplish together!

5 days until the Candlelight Walk in the Woods.

At our Boundary Lantern station, guests can make a lantern and choose a simple reminder to take home.

Things like:

“I can pause.”
“My needs matter.”
“I can ask for help.”
“I do not have to say yes right away.”

A boundary is simply a way of taking care of yourself. We wanted to create something simple enough for kids, meaningful enough for adults, and creative enough to make together.

This one is for the kids, and for the grown-ups who love seeing kids have a good time.

We will have table-to-table trick-or-treating, games, horses, and hands-on activities throughout the evening.

The candlelit walk is one of those simple things that feels a little special.

Bring your kids, bring a friend, bring someone you have been meaning to spend time with, or come take a quiet walk through the woods on your own. There is no wrong way to enjoy the evening.

What would a good fall night look like to you right now?

For us, it looks like a walk through the woods by candlelight, horses at the ranch, warm food and drinks, kids laughing their way from table to table for trick-or-treating, and a community coming together for something that matters.

We would love to have you there.
