These wonderful ladies deserve a post of their very own. ❤️
During Apple Harvest, I had the opportunity to visit the Mossyrock Quilts of Valor booth and learn more about one of their beautiful quilts. I left with the fullest heart and teary eyes.
If you’re not familiar with their work, these incredible women come together each month to create and donate quilts to our veterans. They pour so much heart and soul into every quilt, making each one completely unique. What they do is beautiful, but even more special is the love and passion they put into it.
After spending a few minutes talking with these ladies and getting to know them, Linda gave me the most unexpected and special gift, a hug. Not just any hug, but one complete with a teddy bear and a blanket. 🧸❤️ As she gave it to me, Linda told me she felt called to bring it to me and had actually gone back into her house that morning to grab it before leaving. It matched my gown perfectly, and in that moment, it truly felt like it was meant to be. The message behind that hug brought a smile to my face that hasn’t gone away. 🥹❤️ These women, their kindness, and their mission deserve to be recognized. Thank you, Mossyrock Quilts of Valor, for the beautiful work you do and for reminding me just how powerful a little kindness can be. 🇺🇸❤️
