We hosted our Expanding Horizons Conference, connecting 50 youth to interactive and enrichment learning. Supported by 15 volunteer workshop leaders and in partnership with , the event opened doors to career exploration, skill-building, and new opportunities.

This work continues to deepen our impact in early pathway development and youth engagement.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Kayla Blyman, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Chair of the Mathematics Department, and Faculty President-Elect at Saint Martin's University.

With a Ph.D. in STEM Education from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Blyman has taught at West Point, Berea College, and the University of Kentucky. She also directs two international modeling contests through COMAP, helping students worldwide tackle real-world mathematical challenges.

Her work focuses on creative approaches to teaching undergraduate mathematics and developing the next generation of innovative problem solvers.

Outside the classroom, Kayla is an avid explorer who loves the outdoors, the arts, traveling, and discovering new food. 🌎
