Opening Teller: Anne Shimojima has been telling stories from her Asian heritage and around the world for forty years. Anne’s CD Sakura Tales: Stories from Japan won a Storytelling World Resource Honor Award in 2019. Her signature piece Hidden Memory: An American World War II Story, describes her Japanese American family’s experience in World War II.

Featured Teller: Sandra was the director of Certificate-in-Storytelling program at Dominican University, hosted a radio program, "Telling Tales" for seven years, and has been featured at storytelling festivals. She loves linking traditional stories to modern dilemmas, always searching for the, "happily ever after.”
