This page is reserved only for the second chance Christmas program. We are going to make an exception for the below cause.

We am seeking support to provide safe, reliable heaters for every resident in a local apartment building constructed of concrete and affected by an inadequate heating system. Any assistance or consideration toward improving living conditions for these residents would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi Santa’s!

After going through the last couple families the only things we are missing to be done with the season is

Family BF 303 - $50 Visa card for a yr pass for the zoo and some book toys
Family BF 14 - 2 Holister gift cards and some snacks for teenagers.

Good morning!
While many of you were able to send thank-you cards, a large number of our Santas were people we never met—kind individuals who picked a tag from the giving tree, purchased gifts, and returned them to the business. We also have many incredible volunteers who help make this program possible.
We wanted to create a space where everyone has the chance to say thank you. 💛

Please comment below to share your gratitude and love.
If you’d prefer to send a thank you anonymously, feel free to message us and we’ll post it on your behalf.

Please note: This is not a feedback post—this space is for thank-yous and appreciation only!

With the exception of a handful of families we are currently working with, we are finished for the season and will not be taking on any new families at this time.
If you are still looking for Christmas assistance, the last program we are aware of that is still available is the Joy and Justice Book and Gift Giveaway. This program began the same year as Second Chance.
We don’t know many details about the program, but the woman who runs it has a big heart and works very hard to make it happen for families in need.
We hope this information is helpful, and we wish everyone a safe and joyful Christmas season.
Warmly,
The Second Chance Team

I’m tired and I promise a much better thank-you post in a couple of days—but for now, thank you to everyone who helped in the many, many ways that made today possible. We still have a couple of families we’re ironing things out for, but this was by far our most successful year!

We love our community. We love our Santas, our local businesses, our volunteers, and our families. Today was honestly amazing. Thank you all so much! ❤️

We are so excited to see you today! 🎉 Please take a moment to review a few important details to help everything run smoothly:

📍 Pickup Location: Olympia Regional Learning Center (please add address)
⏰ Time: Today between 10:00–12:00
🚫 Please do not arrive before 9:00 AM.

🚌 The bus lane is for loading and unloading only. Please don’t park there while waiting in line.

🚪 We will be at the doors closest to the flagpole. Please enter on the right and be mindful not to block the left-side exit door.

➡️ The entry line will snake to the right and enter through the far end of the cafeteria, helping keep wait times shorter and limit time in the rain ☔

🏫 Please stay within the designated areas for our program and help us take good care of the school space. Using ORLA is such a wonderful improvement from past years of being in a parking lot with tarps, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to be here ❤️

💌 Thank-you cards will be available on the tables. If you have time while waiting, we’d love for you to fill one out for your Santa — they mean so much!

🎁 In past years we were able to provide extra gifts for those who hadn’t received one. Unfortunately, we don’t have extras this year. If you haven’t confirmed, you will not be receiving presents today.

Thank you so much for your understanding — we can’t wait to see you! ✨
