🚒 Water-Rescue Training at Scott Lake 🚒

Thurston County Fire will be conducting lifesaving water training at Scott Lake beginning this morning, Tuesday, August 18, through Friday, August 21.

Training will take place each day from approximately 8:30 a.m. to noon.

If you’re at the lake—whether swimming, relaxing, or watching the training—please be respectful and give the crews plenty of room to work safely.

Thank you for your cooperation, and thank you to Thurston County Fire for the important work you do to keep our community safe!

Lake Treatment Notice – Thursday, July 30

AquaTechnex will be treating Scott Lake for aquatic weeds on Thursday, July 30.

For your safety, please observe the following restrictions after treatment:

No swimming for 24 hours
No irrigation using lake water for 3 days
Keep pets out of the lake for 24 hours
Do not use lake water for drinking for 14 days

These temporary restrictions are necessary to ensure the treatment is effective and to protect the health of residents, pets, and the environment.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain the lake.

Chief Drake will be sharing important information about our local fire service, current funding challenges, and what they mean for our community. This is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and show our appreciation for the firefighters and emergency personnel who work every day to keep our community safe.

Please remember that future water and HOA payments should be mailed or delivered to:

Water System Update

The emergency repair on Entree View has been completed successfully.

Because the repair was completed quickly and was isolated to a single area of the water system, a boil water notice is not necessary.
