We love The Seattle Times' profile of Fern Tallos, an Olympia artist—and one of our Art in Storefronts artists—known for hand-painted murals featuring stylized flowers, many-pointed stars, and other natural and graphic elements.

Adding a handpainted mural to your home’s exterior can make your curb appeal pop with eye-catching color and personality.

**CALL FOR ART **
Art in Olympia’s Storefronts: FEAST – Let’s Dine Together

Olympia Artspace Alliance is now accepting proposals from artists and artist teams to create site-responsive, temporary art installations for the windows of the Goldberg Building in downtown Olympia.

This year’s theme, FEAST – Let’s Dine Together, invites artists to explore the cultural, emotional, and social rituals surrounding food, gathering, and shared tables.

Think: picnics, family traditions, after-party messes, foraging, shared laughter, local harvests, or even the ways wildlife gathers to dine. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we are nourished by the bounty around us—and this exhibition is your chance to turn that inspiration into a feast for the eyes.

Selected installations will be on view early August through early November in the Goldberg Building windows at Capitol Way & 4th Avenue in downtown Olympia.

Key Dates:
• Applications Open: May 25 – June 22
• Jury Selection: Late June
• Installation: August 1–8
• Deinstallation: October 30–November 2
