All of us at the BRAVE Foundation send our thoughts and prayers to Guatemala. We are grateful to the first responders who are working tirelessly to serve all who are affected by this deadly volcanic eruption.

At least six people were killed and another 20 injured on Sunday when Guatemala's Fuego volcano erupted violently, spewing a stream of red hot lava and belching a thick plume of black smoke and ash high into the sky.

Our thoughts are with the Empact Northwest emergency response medical team deploying to Haiti to assist with the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. Empact Northwest maintains a 24 hour-a-day ready footing to respond to disasters worldwide, providing early rescue and relief services.

In response to Hurricane Matthew, Empact Northwest is deploying a medical unit to the Les Cayes region of Haiti to provide urgent & emergent care as well as medical surveillance and remote area medical assessments.
