April is National Internship Awareness Month! It's a great time to spotlight the importance of internships in shaping the future workforce.

The AWB Institute is thrilled to introduce its newest team member, Joshua Nguyen, who is joining us as a National Civics Bee project intern. He will gain practical skills while directly working with other team members to ensure an effectively executed National Civics Bee competition (coming to Olympia June 20!)

Born and raised locally in Olympia, Josh attends Capital High School High School and is also a Running Start student at South Puget Sound Community College. He plans to major in business.

“I am very grateful for this chance to grow and learn from this internship," Josh said, "and I look forward to meeting and working with many different people.”

Happy National Internship Month! Check out the Washington Workforce Portal to help land an internship or to find a potential intern: www.washingtonworkforceportal.org
