If you’ve ever considered competing in a pageant... please take this as your sign. I came back to the Miss Clark County organization four times, not because I needed a crown, but because this program changed me in ways I still struggle to put into words.
I’ve watched young women (including my younger self) walk in unsure, unseen, or doubting themselves-then walk out as leaders, as advocates, as women who finally realized they were capable of far more than they ever believed. I’ve seen dreams that once felt too big become someone’s new reality: nonprofits launched, degrees earned, futures funded, and confidence built.
Miss America hasn’t just given me opportunities... it’s given me a community that believed in me before I even believed in myself.
