This girl is very scared at first but warms up to a person pretty quickly. Is scared of others and the environment.

She is currently at JAS.

The owner has reached out to us and said their girl, Shadow, is home. New to the area and just adopted a few weeks ago and is a wanderer having gotten loose a few times. They are working on some issues that Shadow has as they feel she has some trauma from the past!

Dosewallips Trail, Olympic National Park & Forest near Brinnon and Quilcene; also reported on Sunrise Rd, Brinnon.

If owner is not found, this pup will need a foster or adopter.

05/25/26 This beauty has been reportedly seen for a few weeks with many reported sightings in the last several days.
We are working with Caryn Lynn Faucher Salapka, The Pawty Park Connection and Tina Whittemore, Peninsula Pet Recovery and Rescue Alliance to get this pup to safety.
Caryn went up earlier today to do some research and to leave a feeding station.
If you see this pup, please do not give or leave any food.

This is Murphy.
His people accidentally left the gate open to their huge property in Elma and Murphy thought he should go for an adventure because it is his Birthday Weekend.
Well adventure he took because he ended up being found by Julie on 216th Ave SW, Centralia near the Great Wolf Lodge. That is 25 miles away.
He was laying down huffing, puffing, and panting away. There aren't many neighbors down that road, but she did check to see if anyone knew him.
Melissa, a neighbor, contacted us to see if we recognized or knew anyone that might be missing him.
Julie was now two hours late for work and needed someone to take him as he would not be able to sit in her hot car.
Thankfully, Chris was able to meet Julie and hold on to Murphy while we hopefully found the owner.
Just a couple hours later, a friend of the owner of Murphy made a post about him missing all the way in Elma.
We will never know how he ended up so far away but fairly certain he did not get to Centralia on his own.
Happy Birthday Murphy and hope you enjoyed your slumber party at Jackson Inn. ❤️

Evangeline, the Texas Tripod, still needs help! 😩

One of our hopes was to have her become a Washington Tripod but because of a recent decision by the recent adopter, she is now going to go back to her foster with the rescue, Genevieve Bosler with Corridor Rescue Inc. (CRI).
They had always been willing for Evangeline to go back but like us, thought it could work up here and she would not have to be returned and transported down South.
Evangeline was very comfortable and happy with Genevieve and her pack, so now she will be going back and will be in her forever home. ❤️
We did receive a little over $600 to be used toward drone services, security and tracking supplies or repairs but unfortunately we need more.
She does have a Martingale collar, slip leash, and a harness and Tractive GPS are on the way.
The next transport is not until June 15 so we need more help to pay for her to return back to in-home boarding and the transport back to Texas which amounts to another $550 needed.
