Double the cute, double the care! These littermates were surrendered yesterday with pneumonia. They’ll be receiving inpatient care with antibiotics and oxygen until their tiny bodies can fight the infection at home. I’ve been putting this off because it’s the hardest kind of post. Feelings of defeat, failure, and loss overwhelm and make it extremely difficult to accept that we could not save him. Cash deteriorated rapidly during his course of treatment last week and we chose to end his suffering in the most humane way. Thank you to all of his supporters—we felt your love. To his donors—we poured every dime into his treatment. Thank you for trusting us. He deserved a chance!!

Parvovirus strikes again ☹️ Cash is in dire straits right now after being discovered by animal services. We just put a hefty deposit down for his care but he’s going to need our community to rally around him! Nearly crashing after his arrival, the doc stabilized Cash and placed him on an aggressive course of treatment.
