Great news! We’ve received funding for the 2025 4-H show premiums, and checks will be ready for our 4-H members to pick up on Monday, June 1. If you participated in the 2025 4-H Food & Clothing Show, General Project Show, or any of the small animal or livestock shows, you can pick up your check at the Richland County Extension office starting Monday, June 1. (As a reminder, those who showed as Cloverbuds last year are not eligible to receive premiums.)

We’re doing things a little differently this year. Instead of mailing checks, we’re asking families to stop by the office and sign for them. This change should help make sure all checks are received by members, and it will also help us save on mailing costs.

When picking up checks, the following individuals are authorized to sign for them: the 4-H member, the parent(s) listed on the member's Zsuite enrollment, and the emergency contact listed on the member's Zsuite enrollment. If you have questions about who is authorized to pick up checks, please check your Zsuite account. If alternative arrangements need to be made, please contact me by calling the Extension office at (618) 395-2191 or emailing me at [email protected].

Don't forget we are open by appointment only on Fridays, now through July 31.
