ABC Children's Program The ABC Program is a ISBE Home Visiting program for families with children prenatal up to age 3. Call us at 217-718-3625 to see if your family is eligible!

See mission below. Families with children prenatal to age three are encouraged to see if they are eligible to participate in this free and valuable children's program. Families receive home visits where certified parent educators work with their child and the parents! Families are invited to group connections on various parenting topics. Our knowledgeable parent educators connect families to valuable community resources. Your child receives free developmental, social-emotional, health, vision and hearing screenings every 6 months. Program Mission: The mission of Community Support Systems' ABC Children's Program, is to strengthen parents as their babies' first and most influential teachers, to promote understanding of child development and to facilitate access to community resources that will enable families to foster strong parent-child relationships.

Ready to give your child a jumpstart on life? Studies show that a child's brain grows the most between ages zero and three than any other time in life. This is a crucial time to stay on top of your child's development and provide them with many experiences. If you reside in one of the following counties, we would love to serve you and your children ages newborn to three or you if you are expecting a child. Illinois counties served include: Edwards, Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence or Richland. ABC Children's Program is a FREE home visiting program, which has been around for over 27 years, and focuses on child development through play twice a month. We have opportunities for brief parent groups (monthly)on an array of topics, family fun events, toy lending library, free books, playgroups, field trips and much more!
