The Alex Popeck Never Back Down Foundation (a 501(c)(3) organization) will be giving out a total of $15,000 to graduating high school students this year who are true Difference Makers.
A total of 71 scholarships totaling $175,000 have been awarded to date.

The Alex Popeck Never Back Down Foundation awarded its 12th year of Difference Maker Scholarships, bringing the totals to 71 scholarships and $175,000 awarded. This year, six students graduating from high schools in Montgomery County received $2,500 scholarships. They are Mae Greeves (Bethesda Chevy Chase HS), Hadley Emery (Poolesville HS), Jena Le (Sherwood HS), Caitlin Sobolslay (Northwest HS), Talia Bradley (Magruder HS) and Ohan Semirjyan (Walter Johnson HS). We will be awarding $2,500 Difference Maker Scholarships to students graduating in 2023 from high schools in Montgomery County, MD. To date we have awarded 65 students a total of $160,000. Applications must be submitted by April 22, 2023 and recipients will be notified by the end of May.

We are very pleased to announce that, for the 12th consecutive year, the Foundation has awarded Difference Maker Scholarships to students graduating from high schools in Montgomery County! Six students each received $2,500, bring our total to 65 students awarded for a total of $160,000! Hoping that Alex is proud 😀
