I would like to THANK everyone who supported and performed at EXPRESSIONS of YOU Open Mic last Saturday. I personally will never judge a book by its cover again or go by what I see! It may not have been 100 people in attendance, but WOW we worked with what we had and this event was POWERFUL. Poets dedicated poems to their better half’s, Poets and Singers gave GOD all the Glory, Poets spittin straight knowledge, Poets mending relationships/friendships, and Poets shedding a new light on hair products…lol. Shout outs to Jeffrey Banks Orville Walker Anthony Godson Passmore, Wanda Thomas-Marshall, Lauren Jackson, Frances MylifeisHis Parker, Pvelvett PraydUp Powell, Arlene M. Clipper, Lakeisha ThankGod Prather, Sanetra Bailey, and everyone one else who doesnt have facebook account!
