Sawyer ended his persuasive speaking career fifth in the state! Sawyer is an excellent speaker and debater, and OHS Debate is stronger because of him. He has, once again, made OHS proud!

Today, Morgan competed in informative speaking, and Maddox and Sawyer competed in persuasive speaking. They arrived among the top 12 speakers in the state. Unfortunately, Morgan and Maddox didn’t advance, but they still gave amazing speeches.

Sawyer will be advancing to finals in persuasive speaking, so wish him luck!!

Sawyer did not advance to semis in LD, but he finished his debate career strong!

OHS debate has been incredibly fortunate to have Morgan and Sawyer for four years. They are talented, hard-working students who will continue to do great things!! Luckily, we get to keep Maddox for one more year. Go Cubs!!
