Sandy Spring Falcons Baseball Boss Baseball The Sandy Spring Athletic Association (Falcons) host baseball teams for players from T-Ball up to 18U.

Starting in 2012 with one team, the Sandy Spring Falcons program continues looking to grow at both travel and developmental levels. It is our primary goal to produce the best possible learning environment where players can have fun, grow and spend time learning the game of baseball from outstanding volunteer and paid coaches.

We are excited to welcome Nick Forlenza as the new rising 8U coach for the Olney Pirates
Nick is a proud product of the Olney Boys and Girls Club, where he grew up playing for both the Pirates and Bucs programs. He was the starting shortstop for the 2014 State Finalist Sherwood Warriors baseball team and currently serves as a JV assistant coach at Sherwood High School.
Off the field, Nick is an elementary school teacher at Belmont Elementary School, where he continues to make a positive impact on young students in the community.

We’re thrilled to have Coach Forlenza leading our 8U Pirates and look forward to an exciting season ahead!
Moving forward, Nick Forlenza will remain at the 8U level and serve as our entry-level coach from year to year within the Olney Pirates. Tryouts for the next rising 8U Olney Pirates team will take place on Sunday 6/14 at 11am and again on Monday 6/15 at 6pm. Tryouts are free to attend but you must be registered to do so.
