Please come and save on your grocery bills.
Frequently asked questions answered below:

- NO id or proof of address NEEDED
-NO APPT NEEDED but we recommend coming after the first 30 minutes for less wait time.
-we are a food pantry for Richland County IL but currently we are Open to any and all families in IL communities local to Richland County IL as we have extras.
- 600 S Camp Ave. Drive around back to the carports and circle around to carport 1 to our drive thru and follow yellow arrows
- items listed subject to change & while supplies last
- Due to high demand EACH FAMILY CAN COME 1 TIME PER WEEK YOU CHOOSE WHICH DAY.You can change days weekly also.
- Line is almost always shorter or none after the first 30 minutes. Specials are typically stay in your car so they are fast moving and we can serve hundreds.
- Cars in line by the end time will be served and we will still have most items available even at the end
- Our lists say items may include as sometimes we may run out of an item by the end time and substitute for others or just be out. We also may not have everything listed out that day.
- We are going to limit Saturdays to 1-2 a month and try to do most Sundays. With faster drive thru and not get out of car. Occasionally we do a weekday evening. Please watch facebook for our last minute specials.

**may be limited to 1 family per car as we typically offer multiple times to come per week

***Specials are limited on the number of items as there are more premium items and more meat available for those days.
Specials are drive thru stay in car and we will ask you what items you want. Open to any local IL families you are absolutely not taking away from anyone by coming. Everyone could use a break on there grocery bill and we are trying to help with that. Please come and tell others.

***Regular lines Monday &Thursday have the most food items and are especially for those in need and you can get out and choose the items you want and your family will use.
- Anyone may also come on regular line days just to get our produce and extras just tell us upon arrival.

-We are open to any and every family who could use some extras. Rain or shine! We will post as soon as possible something cancels.

-if you do not have vehicle for drive thru you may walk, bike or bring rides bus to get items but rides cannot drop you off so please call while on way and we will serve you as soon as you get here.

RIGHT NOW WE ARE OPEN TO ANY FAMILY from any local community and you are not taking from anyone by coming to these. This is to help anyone who can use the extra items we have and get a break on grocery bill!
Due to allowing people to come weekly the amounts given may not be as much as what other places give. Please check our post for items thay may be available for each day open to see if you think it is worth the drive from another community.

Donations needed and appreciated for operating expenses. We do not have private or government funding for operating expenses and food purchases and appreciate everyone helping so we may continue to serve the families who come.

We also are in need of some equipment items and supplies. These items are posted on a seperate post. If you can help with those please let us know.

Volunteers needed to help unload trucks and to help set up, prepare and pass out items.
Fork lift drivers needed.

If you would like to volunteer feel free to just come an hour before any day and time listed above that we are passing out food. The more help we have the more items we may pass out, get ready, and more families we may serve!!

Please like and follow our page as sometimes we are extra blessed and add times for special items that we need to pass out quick. Also sometimes we have bulk quantities available.

Please remember dates on items are only best before dates that each individual manufacturer comes up with and these do not mean the item is expired or bad they are merely freshest by dates. Always go by smell, taste, texture, common sense. We do our best to sort and try one of each kind of item to make sure they are still good/edible as many items come to us past this date and are edible for much longer even after we hand them out. We still encourage further sorting and checking and you can always pick and choose what you want.

***many of our items come to us salvage and already past the best buy/freshest by date thats what is most often accessible to a food pantry. These items are still good and we try to try them to make sure. You choose what you want.

**Please also be aware we get many bulk food items or restaraunt items that will have date of manufacture that the product was made or a code this is not a best buy date. The labels can be confusing.

Please share info above with local friends and family who could use extras.

Volunteers are working very hard to serve the hundreds of families and all the other groups we help. Please come volunteer and you wiĺl see this!

Any questions please call 618-843-0885

We are volunteers here to help others. Please be kind and respectful we do try our best. Feel free to come help the more helpers the more food we can move and the faster we can move people through the line to serve more.
