I want to take a moment to reconnect with you all and offer a sincere apology for our recent absence.
Over the past several months, our rescue has been quieter than usual, and I know many of you have reached out with questions, applications, and messages. I am truly sorry for the delay in responses and any worry or inconvenience this may have caused.
Behind the scenes, I experienced a major and unexpected life event which required me to take a big step back and focus on personal healing, growth, and mental health. As much as this rescue means to me, I recognized that I could not continue to serve our animals and community at the level they deserve without first taking the time to rebuild and regain stability. This was not an easy decision, but it was a necessary one.
I am now in the process of returning very slowly but with intention and am beginning to actively work through the emails, applications, and messages that have come in over the past 5 months. I appreciate your patience more than I can express and ask for a little more grace as I work hard catch up on top of my other responsibilities outside of rescue work.
To everyone who has supported me, believed in our rescues mission, continued to donate and stood by me during this time I thank you. Your kindness and understanding mean everything, and they are a big part of what’s helping me move forward. I am committed to continuing our work, helping animals in need, and rebuilding stronger than ever before. ❤️🐾
