Furever Companions is a small non-profit animal rescue located in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.

Our mission is to help cats and kittens in need, get them fully vetted and find loving furever homes.

💙🐾 MEET MATCH! 🐾💙

Somehow, the sweetest little souls find their way to us when they need us most! 🥹

Meet Match, one of our many handsome little arrivals! This adorable boy was found in the backyard of a wonderful family who had previously adopted from our rescue. ❤️ They safely caught him and reached out to make sure he got the help and care he needed. We are so grateful for kind hearted people who continue to support our mission and help us save lives!!!!

At just 2 and a half months old, Match is already stealing hearts everywhere he goes! 😻

💕 FeLV/FIV tested negative for both

And his personality? Oh, you guys… HE IS A LOVE BUG AND A PURR MACHINE! A little shy at first nut warms up very quickly. 🥰💙 Match is the kind of kitten who will have you falling in love in about 2 seconds flat! 😹

Now, this sweet boy is ready to find a family of his very own who will shower him with love, keep him safe, and give him the happily ever after he deserves. 🏡🐾

From under a pile of wood to a life of love. These six little babies have already been through more than they ever should have. 💔🪵

They were rescued from outside in Grafton after their Momma left one day and never came back. At just a few weeks old, they needed someone to step in and we were determined to make sure they got their chance. ❤️

Fast forward to today and look at them now! These little ones are now about 7 weeks old, and they are EVERYTHING you could hope for in a kitten. 🥰 They are super loving, playful, curious, and absolutely adorable! They have gone from hiding under a pile of wood to playing, cuddling, and enjoying the kitten life they deserve. 🐾💕

Birch - Male, brown tabby, long hair
Pine - Male, brown tabby, short hair
Hickory - Male, black, long hair
Cedar - Female, brown tabby, short hair
Oak - Female, brown tabby, short hair
Maple - Female, lighter brown tabby, short hair

They will be ready for adoption starting next month, and we already know they are going to have people falling in love with them! They are heart melters! 🥹

💗 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM FUREVER COMPANIONS 💗

First, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has reached out to us recently and is still waiting for a response. We see you, and we are so sorry for the delay. 🥺🐾

The truth is, we are a very small rescue, and behind the scenes there is a LOT that goes into caring for our animals, coordinating intakes, adoptions, vet appointments, answering questions, coordinating with fosters, socializing, marketing and keeping everything running. On top of rescue, we also work a separate full-time job, so sometimes our inbox gets ahead of us faster than we can keep up.

Right now, between email and Messenger, we have over 120 unopened messages. 😬💌

We absolutely do not want anyone to think your message has been ignored or forgotten. We are working hard to get through every single one and plan to have everyone responded to by the end of this week!

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our little rescue. We may be small, but we care big and we appreciate every single person who takes the time to reach out. 🐾❤️

❤️🚨 Donations Needed 🚨❤️

Our rescue needs your help now more than ever!!! We have been pouring our heart and soul into saving kitties in need and now have 17 new arrivals to take care of. These adorable babies fly through the wet food and are little pooping machines! 🤣💩 Right now our most needed items are wet kitten food and clumping cat litter and those can be shipped directly to us from our Amazon wishlist. Monetary donations are also greatly needed to help cover some of the costs of upcoming vet bills for all 17 of our new arrivals! Those vet appointments add up fast. 💲

WELL… WE DIDN’T PLAN THIS. 🥹

Remember those 14 new arrivals we just told you about?!?

Our foster spaces were full. Our hands were full. Our schedules were full. And we simply didn’t have room for more. And then these 3 little ones needed us. 💔🐱🐱🐱

So what do you do when you’re already at capacity, but three tiny kittens need somewhere safe to go? You make room. ❤️

Because sometimes rescue isn’t about having the perfect amount of space, time, or resources.
Sometimes it’s about looking at three vulnerable little faces and knowing they deserve a chance.
So WELCOME TO FUREVER COMPANIONS, LITTLE ONES! 🥹

That brings us to 17 NEW ARRIVALS in a very short amount of time and we are officially, completely, and totally FULL. 😂🐾

We’re tired. We’re busy. We’re probably a little crazy and overwhelmed but these babies are now safe, indoors and already so loved. And at the end of the day, that’s what matters. ❤️

I promise more and better pictures of all of our new arrivals will be coming soon! Been just too busy lately but trying my best! Sorry if it takes us a little while to respond to all of your emails and messages but we will be working on those as soon as we are able to! 💕

We are thrilled to announce that one of our rescue volunteers was able to safely trap Momma Zinnia who we have been trying to catch for years now! This poor girl has had litter after litter and today she was finally spayed and will no longer have to continue this on going cycle. She has had at least 4 to 5 litters that we know of and probably many more. It is vital to catch the kittens but also get the adult cats fixed as well. TNR is super important and we are so happy!! ❤️🐾

This past Sunday we brought 6 of our new rescues over to my Grandma's house to give her some much needed kitten therapy! This benefits her as well as the kitties since it gives them more exposure to the cat carrier, car rides, new people and new environments. Win win for everyone and makes our hearts so full. ❤️
