We're looking for a veterinarian to join us **one Friday a month** for our low-cost vaccine clinic! 🐾

Unfortunately, due to a change in her full-time schedule, our wonderful vaccine clinic veterinarian is no longer able to continue with us. We're incredibly grateful for the care she provided, and now we're hoping to find someone new to help us continue offering this important service to our community.

We're looking for a **licensed veterinarian** who can work **one Friday per month for approximately 6 hours** administering vaccines for dogs and cats. The specific Friday is flexible—we're happy to work around your schedule. This is a perfect opportunity for a semi-retired veterinarian, relief veterinarian, or someone looking to give back one day a month.

This is a **paid position** and a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping pets receive affordable preventive care.

Every Breath Matters Update

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters, we've raised $450 toward our goal of $1,140 for four new pulse oximeters!

That means we're nearly 40% of the way there, and we're so grateful to everyone who has donated or shared our campaign.

Pulse oximeters continuously monitor a patient's heart rate and oxygen levels while they're under anesthesia, giving our veterinary team the information they need to provide safe, high-quality care during every surgery.

Our current monitors have served us well, but they're due for replacement. With your help, we can equip each anesthesia station with a reliable new monitor so every cat that comes through our clinic receives the safest care possible.

UPDATE 7/20/2026 -
The base phone has been re-booted and it appears to have fixed the voicemail issue. You are still able to schedule your appointments at our website.

On Wednesday, July 15, Olivet had a power outage for several hours. Since the outage our normal voicemail has reverted to a generic "please leave a message" We are working to fix the glitch.

If you are calling to schedule a spay/neuter appointment for a cat, a vaccine appointment for a cat or dog, I believe you can still leave a message at 269-579-1120. Or you can go to our website eatoncountyhumanesociety.org and schedule directly there.
