🔥 WELCOME MS. FRITZSCHE 🔥

We are excited to introduce another new Agriculture Teacher who will be joining the Lindhurst High School Agriculture Department for the 26-27 school year! Ms. Fritzsche will be teaching Agricultural Biology, Agricultural Chemistry, and Animal Science!

Hi Blazers! I’m Ms. Fritzsche and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newest addition to the LHS Agriculture Department!

As a first year teacher, I can’t wait to bring energy and new ideas to the classroom! I have a deep passion for agriculture and was also an FFA member myself back in high school! I can’t wait to get in the classroom and get to know all of you!

State FFA Finals 2026 🔥

For the first time, we had an Ag Issues team! This team took on the impact of data centers on farmland here in Yuba County. For the last six months, they’ve poured their time, energy, and heart into this, countless hours of research, over 30 sources in their portfolio, presenting all over our community, and building a 15-minute podcast style presentation called “Lines on the Land.”

A big thank you to the LHS administration and staff, and our community partners who gave this team opportunities to present, grow, and gain confidence.

What an amazing year and way to represent your school! 🔥

Congratulations to our Fabrication Team for winning 4th High Team at the Tomales Fabrication Contest! The team designed and created a custom firewood rack! 🔥

🔥STATE FFA DEGREE-SUMMER MILLER🔥

Congratulations to Summer Miller for earning her California State FFA Degree! Her SAE’s includes Market Turkeys, Market Hogs, Market Lambs and Duck Production. Summer won Novice and Advanced Reserve Turkey Showmanship Champion her freshman year. Summer was a Sierra Buttes Section Job Interview Finalist. She plans on attending Yuba College after high school then transferring to a university, where she plans on pursuing a degree in Agriculture Education in hopes of becoming an Ag Teacher!

Summer will be recognized at the State FFA Degree ceremony in Chico next week!

🔥STATE FFA DEGREE-GISSEL ARROYO🔥

Congratulations to Gissel Arroyo for earning her California State FFA Degree! Her SAE includes market hogs and beef cattle management. Gissel has attended the State FFA Leadership Conference and has helped with the Regional and State El Credo contests. Gissel is attending Butte College in the fall and plans on transferring to Chico State to study Agricultural Education!

Gissel will attend the State FFA Degree banquet in Chico next week!
