Wesson Heights HOA Community forum to discuss the desires of the neighborhood.

Hi Wesson Heights neighbors,

Pursuant to our annual meeting on March 8, 2026, we are conducting a formal vote on the proposed Rental Property Restriction Bylaw. The intent of this amendment is to protect property values and preserve the residential character of Wesson Heights by limiting corporate and investor purchases and rentals

Currently we 21 votes, 19 voted yes and 2 voted no.

With that being said, there are 16 neighbors that haven't voted. Earlier this evening I met with a lot more of them and plan to meet the rest later this week. I dropped a paper copy so they can vote that way or go online.

We ask that you submit one vote per household as soon as possible.

Thank you for your participation.

HOA Board Update – Snow & Ice Conditions

We understand the concerns regarding the snow- and ice-covered roads and share everyone’s frustration with the city’s delay in plowing. This is the City's responsibility and they have not done anything on a residential level. Their focus has been on the busiest roads.

After careful discussion, the HOA Board has decided not to hire a private service to plow the roads. The streets within the neighborhood are city-owned, and under our governing documents, the HOA is not responsible for road maintenance. Additionally, using HOA funds for this purpose could create liability concerns for the association if accidents or injuries were to occur after plowing.

Taking on road maintenance—financially or legally—is not something the HOA is structured to support.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and encourage residents to use caution while traveling until the city is able to address road conditions.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned to the Mayor about people speeding on Austin.

He mentioned that they could put up a police camera to monitor. Well, if you haven't seen it, it's at the corner of Austin and Medora. Be careful and drive safe.
