Our annual picnic is tomorrow Monday May 11th at 6pm. We will supply burgers, hot dogs, with all the fixings, and beverages. Bring a chair and a sharable side if you want too. Please let me know if you plan to attend but didn't sign up so we have enough food.

We had a great time at tonight’s Men’s Club/ Knights of Columbus Christmas Party! As usual, the “Dirty Santa” gift exchange was a hit!

Years ago I was the Men’s Club Golf Tournament Chairman. In my 15 years of doing this I came up with several humerus awards that would be attractive to ‘lesser’ players… Awards like “Played in the Wrong Fairway the Most”. For the player who lost the most golf balls there was the “Lost my Balls at the Men’s Club Golf Tournament”. But the most coveted award for the team with the highest score was the “Dead Ass Last” award! This year, Jeff Newton with Newton’s Trophy Corner outdid himself with this years DAL trophy!!

Cherie Brickey, wife of Sir Knight Art Brickey passed away December 28th.
Cherie was a very active member of the Queen of Peace Ladies Auxiliary as well as the photographer for the Knights of Columbus and the Men's Club and an active member of so many other Ministries here at Queen of Peace.

"Cherie Thatcher Brickey, 78, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2023 with a memorial Mass held at 11:00 a.m., all at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. A committal service will follow the Mass at Autumn Woods Memorial Park. Fr. David Szatkowski, SCJ will officiate. A full obituary will appear soon."
