Face Book www.facebook.com/BerksCountyPullers 1987-2026 39 YEARS OF PULLING

79th Oley Valley Community Fair was on Saturday September 19, 2026. Berks County Pullers Association entertained the Fair goers with a Garden Tractor and Open pulling show. It was a great weather day for the pulling.
Some new pullers came to try their luck on the Oley Fair Grounds clay track. With sun shine and a breeze all day our track crew did a great job all day on the track. Forty-seven pullers were there to put on a great show. With 182 hooks, in twenty-two classes. That was the most hooks that we have had in two years.
I want to thank the pullers and fans who keep supporting the garden tractor pulls. A real big thank you to the track crew who worked on the track all day to give each puller a very good track to pull on. Also thank you to all who helped during the day. Some jobs that they do are: setting up the track, running the sled, driving the pull back tractor, driving the groomer tractor, hooking pullers to the sled, flagging the pull, using a rake to fill in holes, filling the sprayer with water, working in the booth, and putting equipment away after the pull.
Thank you, Schaeffer Catering for doing the food the October pull.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for both rounds of the Youth Factory Tractor Classes, for the rest of 2026 pulling year.
We have a sponsor for the 2026 pulling season, it is Joe Rakowski.
Thinking ahead to 2027, it will be the forty-year anniversary of Berks County Puller Association. We are looking at new tee shirts for the anniversary. My daughter Diane has made a great design we are looking at. Put your heads together and come up with how we should celebrate.
The Berks County Pullers home dates for 2026 are: Sunday October 11, 2026, 11:00. All Berks County Pullers home dates are at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds.

August 2026 NEWSLETTER BERKS COUNTY PULLERS
876 Spring City Road, Phoenixville, Pa. 19460
cell 610-804-8261, e-mail [email protected]
Face Book www.facebook.com/BerksCountyPullers 1987-2026 39 YEARS OF PULLING

Berks County Pullers Association had a great weather day for the third garden tractor pull of 2026. Sunday July 12, 2026 turned out to be one of the best weather days of the year so far. Full sunshine, temperatures in the low eighties and no rain.
There were thirty-six pullers who made the trip to the Oley Fairground’s pulling track. The pullers hooked to the sled 158 times during the day. As always at Berks County Pullers shows there were a lot of close pulling distances in the different classes.
Thank you, Schaeffer Catering for doing the food the July pull.
The Berks County Pullers home dates for 2026 are: Saturday August 8, 2026, Ice Cream and Peach Festival 11:00, Saturday September 19, 2026, 10:00 Oley Fair, and Sunday October 11, 2026, 11:00. All Berks County Pullers home dates are at the Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds.
