Firework donation canisters supporting the Olean Fireworks are now available at several locations throughout Olean and Portville, helping keep this long-standing Independence Day tradition alive through community support.

🕒 Hours of operation: Tuesday to Saturday from 11 to 9pm

Community members are encouraged to stop in, support local business, and consider adding a donation to help fund this year’s fireworks celebration.

Come out to meet and greet the Olean Oilers players, enjoy a wonderful evening with friends and community members, and show your support for our hometown team.

We knew this was going to happen — it happens all the time!

As we get closer and closer to Independence Day and Olean's incredible Fourth of July celebration, many of our fireworks donation canisters have been sitting out since early May. People have been busy, they've forgotten to donate to them and maybe that spare change is still sitting in a cup holder, purse, or kitchen drawer.

So we're doing something special.

From last Saturday to TODAY'S pickup, every donation placed in an official Olean Fireworks donation canister will be MATCHED by one of our generous fireworks committee members!

That means every dollar becomes two dollars in support of the fireworks display that so many families and visitors enjoy each year.

The Olean Fireworks are 100% community funded, and we're entering the final stretch of fundraising. If you see one of our donation canisters while you're out shopping, dining, or running errands, now is the perfect time to drop in your spare change or a cash donation and make twice the impact.
