Lena Horne, aside from being a super singer, did you know that Ms. Horne was a Civil Rights Activist? That she has a theatre named after her?
Billie Holiday was also a Civil Rights Activist and Has a theatre named after her?
Look up Gladys West. Ok?
Look up Bass Reeves, Ok?
Look up Mary Fields, OK? And, Last one:
Look up Biddy Mason.
