It is with great sorrow that I have this event to announce:
There will be a candlelight vigil held this evening at the Dunedin Causeway in memory of Colin Farrell. The vigil will start promptly at 8:30 with a moment of silence followed by prayer. We expect this to be a short vigil, lasting approx 20-30 min.
At the conclusion of the vigil we will form a car line to drive over to a family members home where the Farrell family are staying. The car line will be lead by Caitlyn Farell, Colin’s twin sister. The car line will simply complete a slow drive by demonstrating our support for the family. For safety purposes: The car line will travel east on Curlew from the Causeway. Just after the US 19 intersection take a right onto 69th. Follow 69th to the stop and turn right onto 298th which will take you by the Farell family. To exit, continue past the home and at the stop take a right. This is the exit road and is about a block from US 19. Please exercise caution turning onto US 19 to exit for the conclusion of the carline. Please decorate your vehicle with words of affirmation, love, prayer, and support.
A Celebration of Life is in its final planning stage. It is being held at the Oldsmar Sports Complex aka Canal Park in Oldsmar on Saturday, April 24th in the afternoon. I will update with a formal time and cirriculum as I receive additional information.
This is an open invitation to the community. Now more than ever we need to come together in love. Please take a moment to check in with yourself and a loved one. If you or a loved one feels that problems or circumstances are larger than life and things have become too overwhelming, seek help. You aren’t alone.
