🍚 September is National Rice Month! 🍚
Rice is a simple, versatile pantry staple that can help families stretch their food budget and make meals go farther. It can be paired with vegetables, beans, meat, and other pantry items to create filling meals for the whole family.
With more than 500 households visiting the Oldsmar Cares food pantry each month, keeping everyday staples like rice on our shelves is important.
Throughout September, we are collecting:
🤍 White Rice
🤎 Brown Rice
1 lb. bags are preferred because that is the size we typically stock and distribute in our pantry, but bags of other sizes are gratefully accepted! Every donation helps us keep this important staple available for the families we serve.
📍 Donations can be dropped off at Oldsmar Cares:
149 State Road 580 W., Oldsmar
Oldsmar Cares Donation Hours:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 9 AM–12 PM
Monday & Wednesday: 5:30–7 PM
