TEAM CAMP 2026 — FANCY FRIDAY!

What better way to wrap up an incredible week than with a red carpet, a beach day, and our annual team sleepover?! 🎬🏖️

Our red carpet was SO much fun, and the beach was the perfect way to end the week — soaking up the sun, relaxing by the water, and celebrating everything these girls have accomplished! 💙

From gymnastics to beach days to late-night laughs, these girls made so many memories together. I am beyond proud of this team and all of the hard work, dedication, and progress they’ve shown this week. They pushed themselves, supported each other, and made this team camp one to remember. 💙🤸‍♀️

Now it’s time for a well-deserved week off to rest, recharge, and reset before we officially kick off competition season! ✨

The laughs were nonstop, the creativity was unmatched, and we may have discovered some hidden face-painting talents! 🎨😂

A little break to sweeten up practice! 🍦🔥

During Practice 2's snack break, the girls stepped outside and joined the Y's Campfire Across America Event and enjoyed some ice cream and s'mores before heading back into the gym. Whether it gave them the perfect boost for the rest of practice or slowed them down a little... we'll let you decide! 😂🤸💙

A huge thank you to Max Sturm for taking the time to cover our team's journey to YMCA Nationals! We truly appreciate you highlighting the hard work and dedication of our athletes.

I couldn't be more proud of this team. Their determination, resilience, and commitment all season long were evident every time they stepped onto the competition floor. But beyond the medals and scores, what I'm most proud of is how much fun they had together and the memories they made along the way.

I feel incredibly lucky to coach such an amazing group of athletes. I can't wait to continue watching them grow, both as gymnasts and as people, and I'm so excited to see everything they'll accomplish next season. 💙🤸🏅

✨️ NATIONALS RECAP✨️

What an incredible week at YMCA Nationals!

13 of our athletes stepped onto the competition floor with confidence, determination, and heart - and they are coming home with 41 medals, including 8 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals! 🥇🥈🥉

From personal bests to podium finishes, every athlete represented our team with grit, resilience, and sportsmanship. We couldn't be more proud of everything they have accomplished all season long.

This week wasn't just about medals - it was about friendships, growth, unforgettable memories, and representing our YMCA family with pride.

We Belong. We are Strong. We are Y Gymnastics.

No competition? No problem! 💙🤸

With no athletes scheduled to compete on Monday, we took the opportunity to enjoy a fun team day together! We spent the morning exploring the Greensboro Science Center, walking through the aquarium, zoo, and butterfly exhibit 🦋🐠🦁.

After some free time to explore, shop, and relax, we wrapped up the day by coming back together for a team dinner. These moments outside the gym are just as important as the ones inside—they build friendships, create memories, and make our team stronger.

Today, it's back to competition mode! 💪✨ Stay tuned for the results!
