The Veteran Of Foreign Wars (VFW), local chapter Old Town Post 3381, is a non-profit community service oriented organization involved in local parades and holiday ceremonies, youth scholarships, social media, the Wounded Warrior Project, meat/seafood raffles, themed costume parties, and helping locals in need. We are self-sufficient from the state and national VFW programs and support the local ch
apter with canteen sales. We are a private club, have the most competitive adult drink prices in the area, and smoking inside the club is allowed...that's the true smell of freedom, personal choices! In order to join VFW Post 3381 Auxiliary organizations - the following qualifications are necessary:
1. Either a relative, or you, must be a veteran of a foreign war and have a DD-214 honorable discharge paper. (These relatives can be spouse, child, mother, father, sibling, grandparents, step parents, aunt, uncle, etc.) Email the qualifying relative's DDForm214 to [email protected] with your name and the branch you would like to join i.e. An application must be filled out and filed with the Ladies/Mens Auxiliary. (You can get the application at our Post #3381 – 173 Main St. The appropriate fee must be paid. Ladies Aux membership is $18/year. Mens Aux membership is $16/year.
4. A candidate for membership can be an annual member or a life member whichever is desired.
5. The application must be presented by a member in good standing at our regular meeting and voted upon by the membership. If all of these qualifications are met, a candidate is considered in good standing. We welcome all of you and hope you will consider joining.
