Natasha Allen was honored to present the BACK Fighting Cancer Scholarship in memory of Kendall Bush at the Dixie Education Foundation 2026 Scholarship awards this evening.

Kendall was a cancer survivor. Our K in BACK. Our bubbly and fierce Kendall. Each year, we award the scholarship to a student in Dixie County, who wishes to pursue a career in the medical field.

After beating cancer, Kendall became a nurse to help other people and she did just that. She was an amazing and giving person.

This year the scholarships were Danielle Craig and Abigail Hall. We know they will make Dixie Proud.

At the recent Dixie County Education Foundation Scholarship award night, Crystal Bush presented our BACK Fighting Cancer Scholarship in memory of Kendall Bush.

Kendall was a cancer survivor. Our K in BACK...our bubbly and fierce Kendall. Each year, we award a student in Dixie County, who wishes to pursue a career in the medical field, a scholarship in honor of Kendall.

After beating cancer, Kendall became a nurse. She was determined to help others and she did. She was an amazing and giving person.

Sadly, Kendall was taken too soon in December of last year. Cancer didn't take her. A senseless and preventable automobile wreck took her from this world...stole her from us. So, now, we give this award in memory of Kendall. She made us all proud. And we know the recipient will, too.

Today, we morn the loss of our dear K.

Kendall was a firecracker and her smile lit up the room - she lit up the World.

We will miss her terribly. Please keep her precious family and loved ones in your prayers.

For the last couple of years, Covid kind of sidelined us. But, kids in our area are still being diagnosed with cancer. We are still giving grants to families.

We're still here and we are looking forward to revamping and starting our active fundraising back up in 2023. Would you like to be a part of our mission? Let us know!
