Great first day of the 8th annual Rumble at The Ballpark Wrestling Tournament! Congrats to all our champions from today’s high school tournament!

The youth division is set for tomorrow. Check in/registration at 7:30, wrestling will begin as close to 8 as we can.

If you didn’t register online you can sign up in person tomorrow.

SOME INFORMATION FOR THIS YEAR'S EVENT:

Registration/Check-in for wrestlers:

Please try and get to the venue by 7:30 on Saturday and Sunday. We will try to get started as close to 8 am as possible.

Entry fee for fans:

There will be a $5 entry fee for adults on both days.

Weigh-ins:

Once again we will be doing honor weigh-ins with a Challenge Scale. We reserve the right to ask any wrestler to step onto the scale to make sure they are in the right weight class.

We will also allow coaches/parents/wrestlers to challenge a weight if they feel another wrestler is heavier than the weight they have registered for. It will cost $25 to challenge a weight. If the wrestler is in fact overweight, the person who challenged will get their money back and the wrestler who is overweight will be charged.

There is a 4-pound allowance this year. We are hoping there will be no issues and the scale won't be necessary at all. Over the past few years, we did not have to use the scale at all.

If your weight has changed since the time you signed up, please contact us and give us your new weight class.

Seating:

Feel free to bring lawn chairs to the venue to sit down during the tournament.

Food and drinks:

There will be a food truck on site.

We will have water on hand for both wrestlers and fans.

We have decided to cancel the Open Division for this year's Rumble at The Ballpark.

The high school tournament will be held on Saturday, June 14 and the youth tournament will be held on Sunday, June 15.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us run the tournament, including table workers, tappers and more. Reach out to us through the page if you would like to help out either Saturday or Sunday.

As I'm sitting here covering the Pennsylvania State High School Wrestling Championships in Hershey, I decided it was the perfect time to announce that we are coming back for another year of the Rumble at The Ballpark!

We will once again be holding the tournament at the Crystal Athletic Training Facility in Sanford. The dates will be Saturday, June 14 for high school and open, and Sunday, June 15 for youth.

I will work on getting the registration site up and running by next week. Cost will remain the same, $50 per wrestler.

And once again our title sponsor is Moriarty Electric! Thanks to Mark and his whole crew for all of their support over the years!

A great opening day of the 7th annual Rumble at The Ballpark at the Crystal Athletic Training Facility! Congrats to all of our champs and medal winners in the high school and open divisions!

Youth is up tomorrow morning at 8!

When you park, if there are no spots in the main lot or at the front of the office building, go in between the dome and baseball field and pull into lot past home plate going down the left field line. We can’t block the road into the complex from either entrance.

For clarification, if your wrestler is going to be a freshman in high school next year then they will need to compete in the high school division.

Wrestlers who will be 8TH GRADERS in the 2024-25 school year can choose to compete in youth, high school or both.
