Congratulations to Deer’s Head Hospital Center on officially raising the Purple Flag and earning accreditation as a Purple Flag Excellence in Dementia Care™ provider! 💜

This milestone is especially meaningful as Deer’s Head becomes the first hospital center in the nation to receive the distinction, the second Purple Flag provider in Maryland, the second member of LifeSpan Network to achieve accreditation, and the 38th accredited provider overall.

We are proud to celebrate the leadership, compassion and dedication of the entire Deer’s Head team and look forward to continuing to grow dementia care excellence across Maryland and beyond.

Waterstone on High Ridge earned Gold Badges for both Best Independent Living and Best Assisted Living, while Bridges by EPOCH at Trumbull earned a Gold Badge for Best Memory Care. Both communities also received Silver Emblems in key experience-driven categories.
