Many Lakotas continue their tradition of making beautiful handcrafts including jewlery made from porcupine quills, beads, antlers and silver as well as pottery and morning star quilts
In an effort to expand the marketing of these crafts, the Green Grass Partnership formed Tribal Crafts. This evolved into a non-profit corporation to better serve its purpose. helps the Lakota people sell their cra
fts and creates a way of returning money to those living on the reservation. consists of a general membership, a volunteer Board or Directors and an advisory committee of Lakota crafts people. As a non-profit corporation, Tribal Crafts, Inc. The crafts are sold in the Partnership room in the Parish Hall of the church. also sells the crafts at other churches, fairs and powwows. To purchase crafts, come to the Partnership Room when open, or contact Stephanie Kenny at [email protected]. Church storefront hours are Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 and also in the afternoon from 12:00 to 1:00. Our summer hours are from 11:00 -12:00.
