Hermitage Springs Estates

Hermitage Springs Estates Dedicated to the owners and residents Hermitage Springs Estates (HSE) is a residential community of town homes located in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

Established as a non-profit homeowners association in 2001, management was turned over to a homeowner-controlled board of directors in 2010. Located on the site of the original plantation of John Donelson, co-founder of Nashville, HSE is an attractive gated-community nestled above and close to the Cumberland River, backing up against the Hermitage Golf Course. Surrounding a natural wetland fed by

an active spring, HSE's residents also include a variety four-footed friends; deer, ground hogs, raccoon, skunks, and fox. The pond is home to beaver, ducks, geese, cranes, turtles and more. The natural setting lends to a peaceful and quiet environment enjoyed by all residents. Besides being the home site of one of Nashville's most important families, the occupation of this site goes back several hundreds of years as remains and artifacts of ancient native Indian populations were discovered prior to and during the development of the community. This rich history makes HSE a unique place to call home.
