Harbor Island Yacht Club is located on scenic Old Hickory Lake (a part of the Cumberland River waterway), just to the northeast of Nashville in Wilson County, Tennessee. HIYC was formed in 1961 by a group of sailing enthusiasts. The club has steadily grown and now has a membership of over 125 families including active, junior, and associate members. HIYC has several fleets including a large cruis

ing fleet, a Lightning fleet, a Laser fleet, and an Optimist dinghy fleet. We have regular regattas planned for each fleet throughout the year and have many social activities scattered throughout the year.
