The Wise Mule (a free store) is open tomorrow, Thursday 4/30, from 1-6 PM*! The free store is located at 161 Commerce St, Old Fort NC, right across from Euda Wine. I am WELL stocked right now with tons of clothing, shoes, accessories, household goods, and more!
*IMPORTANT: If you decide to show up early (before 1 PM), you'll need to wait outside the bus or in your car until it is time to open (just like any other store!). Please keep in mind that the free store is run entirely by volunteers, who all do their very best to keep The Wise Mule inviting, comfortable, and accessible for everyone. Being rude, pushy, or unkind to volunteers has the potential to demoralize our team and may result in reduced hours if enough people aren't willing to show up and help out. Help us keep the free store open and welcoming to *all* (including those volunteering to run it!) by being kind and patient when you visit. Thank you!
I'm always looking for donations of bags to give to folks who visit the free store. Do you have a stash of shopping bags that seem too nice to throw away, but you don't have any real use for? I'd love to take them off your hands! ***No plastic bags, please!!***
