Just so we are completely clear…

Anything placed ON our porch is a DONATION intended for New Testament Outreach. Those items are private property and are NOT free for anyone to take.

Our black mystery bags and mystery boxes are something completely separate. They are clearly labeled “Mystery Bag” or “Mystery Box” and are placed OFF the porch, in front of the Connex boxes.

There is a clear difference between the two:

➡️ ON THE PORCH = DONATIONS FOR NEW TESTAMENT OUTREACH
➡️ IN FRONT OF THE CONNEX BOXES & CLEARLY LABELED = MYSTERY BAGS/BOXES

We appreciate everyone who respects our property, our donations, and the work that goes into helping people in our community. Please do not remove anything from the porch.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us continue to serve our community. ❤️

We are truly thankful for every prayer, kind word, and show of support. It means more to us than you know. ❤️

We do want to gently remind everyone that this page represents a ministry that is centered on God, and we want the words shared here to reflect that. We completely understand that people may have different opinions, but we ask that conversations remain respectful and that foul language or cussing be kept off this page.

You are always welcome to share your thoughts, ask questions, and even disagree—just please do so with kindness and respect.

Thank you for helping us keep this a place that honors God and encourages others. 🙏❤️

We are beyond disappointed.
3 individuals came onto the New Testament Baptist Church Outreach porch and took items that were there to help people in our community. This was captured on camera, and the footage has been saved.

These donations are given freely and lovingly so that families who are truly in need can have a little help. Taking advantage of this ministry means taking away from someone who may genuinely need those items.

We know who was involved, and this matter is being handled appropriately. (we have the man’s name, Jeremy (Jerry) Logan) If you can Identify the woman please let us know.

Please respect the church grounds, the Outreach Ministry, and the generosity of the people who make it possible. This is God’s house.

It is heartbreaking that we even have to make a post like this. 😡

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Whoever came to our Outreach Pantry, took food, ate it, and then decided it was acceptable to throw the empty packages on the ground, leave them on the picnic table, and scatter trash around the pantry — THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

This pantry is here to help people in our community. Food is purchased, donated, stocked, organized, and maintained by people who genuinely care about others. The very least we should be able to expect is enough respect to pick up your own trash.

There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for eating food from the pantry and then tossing the wrappers and containers on the ground for someone else to clean up.

And beyond that, these are church grounds. This is God’s house. Whether you attend here or not, this property should be treated with respect. Leaving garbage scattered around the church grounds is disrespectful not only to the people who work to maintain this ministry, but also to the place that has been set aside for the Lord’s work.

Our sign says:

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED.
LEAVE WHAT YOU CAN.

Apparently, we need to add:

AND TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU.

We should not have to walk around the pantry, under the picnic table, beside the building, through the gravel, and along the walkway picking up someone else’s garbage.

If this pantry helps you, please respect it. Respect the church grounds. Respect God’s house. Respect the volunteers. Respect the people who donate. And respect the other families in this community who depend on this pantry too.

DO BETTER. This ministry is here to be a blessing to our community — not a place for someone to eat, throw their garbage on the ground, and walk away.

We are thankful to be able to provide this little pantry for those in our community who may need a little help. ❤️

We do need to ask everyone to please be respectful of the pantry and the property around it. If you use the pantry, please do not leave trash, wrappers, cans, or food behind. We have recently found garbage left around the pantry area and on our picnic tables, and that is not okay.

Please also make sure all pantry doors are completely closed when you are finished and do not leave food sitting on the ground in front of the pantry. Keeping everything properly stored and the doors shut helps protect the food from weather, animals, and contamination so it stays safe for the next person who may need it.

Our sign says, “Take what you need, leave what you can,” and we would also ask that you leave the area clean and the pantry properly closed when you leave.

A lot of time, work, and love goes into keeping this pantry stocked and available. Please help us take care of it so we can continue helping those who truly need it. ❤️

Take what you need. Leave what you can. Close the doors. Leave no mess behind.

❤️ We Could Use Your Help! ❤️

Our outreach pantry is getting a little low, and we’re asking our community to help us restock our shelves and freezers so we can continue helping families in need.

We’re especially in need of shelf-stable foods such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter, boxed meals, cereal, and other pantry staples, as well as frozen meals, meats, vegetables, and other freezer items.

🥫 Every can helps.
🛒 Every bag helps.
❤️ Every donation makes a difference.

The best time to drop off donations is on Mondays from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. If Mondays don’t work for you, just send us a message here on Facebook and we’ll be happy to set up a day and time that is convenient for you.

Thank you for helping us keep our outreach pantry stocked and ready to serve those in our community. God bless you! ❤️🙏
