Heads up Old Forge residents! ✨📡

Garbage and recycling pick up will vary this week due to the Labor Day holiday.

🗑Garbage pick up begins on Wednesday September 4 borough wide. Trash day will be one day behind.

♻️Recycling pick up resumes on September 3, 2024. Collection will be one day behind in each ward.

Tomorrow's council meeting at 7pm will vote on who will fill former Councilman Notari's seat.

Other new business includes:
Resolution for approval of Borough twinning agreement with Felitto, Italy.
Approval of Muni Consult Consulting LLC Agreement
Resolution authorizing a six month extension for DPW employee to complete his CDL license certification.
Resolution to hire Auditor.

The Old Forge Fire Department is seeking water bottle donations to keep their volunteers hydrated. The OFD has received a record breaking amount of calls this summer, and donating a case of water will go a long way in keeping these first responders safe. Consider leaving a pack of water at the OFD headquarters to support our volunteer fire department!
