The Mission Boutique — a resale shop run by Niccolls Memorial Presbyterian Church in Old Forge — continues to support numerous organizations through the generous donations of their patrons.
According to Niccolls Church Rev. Dr. Naomi C. Kelly, proceeds from Mission Boutique have gone to support the following local, national, and global organizations: Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks (HASCA); Community Transportation Service (CTS); Doctors Without Borders; World Central Kitchen; Partners In Health; Hands Of Mercy School at Amazing Grace Church in Kamala, Uganda; various needs of the local community; Community Dinners four times a year, and Community Lunches on the third Wednesday from October to April.
“The Mission Boutique of Niccolls Church would like to express their appreciation to our community,” said Kelly. “Thank you for your donations that provide clothing and housewares to our community. Thank you to those who give hours of their time laboring to sort through the donations and arrange them in the shop. Thank you to our shoppers.”
The Mission Boutique is located behind Niccolls Church at 228 Crosby Blvd., Old Forge, and is open for shopping and dropping off donations from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
