Well all, it’s that time of year again when we say “ ski ya later” We want to thank everyone that joined us this winter for some awesome skiing and riding at McCauley Mountain! It was a great season with snow and smiles galore! We want to thank our crew for an amazing job and our concessionaires that brought it all together. We will miss seeing everyone but remember- summer scenic chair rides will start up at the end of June and Mountain Bike Season is right around the corner!! Till then- take care!😎

The McCauley Mountain Crew would like to thank everyone that participated, volunteered and worked at and watched their annual events held on Saturday, March 21. Spectators and participants started the day early with a 7 a.m. kickoff to the Celtic Climb, followed by Pond Skimming in the afternoon.

A special thank you to Jordan Schreppel and Hans Schmid for assisting in water rescue and staying on post in the pond through the duration of the event.

Thanks also goes out to Old Forge Fire Department, Ambulance and Ski Patrol. We appreciate the CAA and Trae Skinner for lending the sound equipment and announcing at the event, and to our judges — Ali Skinner, Catherine and Tim Quarles, who got a bit soggy but kept on smiling (pictured). Thanks to the Ski shop and the Grill Room for sponsoring prizes. And thank you to all the folks that came out to participate and to cheer on our Celtic Climbers and Pond Skimmers.
